Award-winning chef Angus An brings bold Northeastern Thai flavours to the West End with the opening of his latest eatery, Sainam. Guests will be transported to Thailand’s Isaan region by feasting on flavourful and fragrant signature dishes such as som tum (papaya salad), and Wechanpuri-style gai yang (grilled chicken).

Isaan, located in Thailand's northeastern region, shares a border with Laos and is renowned for its rustic, robust, and sharp yet humble cuisine. This area is particularly famous for its various papaya salads and a range of grilled and fermented dishes. These dishes are traditionally shared at the table, offering a harmonious balance of flavors, and are typically enjoyed with sticky rice.
